Nagorno-Karabakh Drams Banknotes

Nagorno-Karabakh is a region in southwest Azerbaijan. It is also referred to as Nagorno-Karabach, Azerbaijani Dağlıq Qarabağ, and Armenians refer to it as Artsakh. Nagorno- Karabakh is a self-declared country whose independence is not internationally recognized. This nation proclaimed independence in 1992 and has since held elections, and approved a new constitution in 2006. Azerbaijan declared these actions as unlawful, but is working with Armenia to resolve the conflict over this region.
